My name is Ying Zhou (Joey) and I will be doing my PhD in the Predictive Brain group. The key words of my phd study will be "priors" and "confidence" (according to the research proposal I wrote, which is obviously subject to change).

Before I came to Nijmegen, I was in New York City doing my Master's with Marisa Carrasco and Larry Maloney at New York University. I'm a big fan of psychophysics and computational modeling, and hopefully I'll learn to use the fancier (and more expensive) techniques such as fMRI and MEG here in the Donders Institute.

I enjoy traveling and reading tech-books in my leisure time.
