Dota Tianai Dong

My research interests intersect at the nexus of machine learning and cognitive neuroscience. I am particularly interested in comprehending the computational and cognitive principles that underlie human multimodal perception. I mainly use computational methods to study these questions, in conjunction with data and theories from neuroscience, linguistics, and psychology.

 I am currently a PhD student, affiliated with Multimodal Language Department at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, and Predictive Brain Lab at the Donders Institute (Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging). I am co-advised by Floris de Lange , Lea-Maria Schmitt , Stefan Frank, and Aslı Özyürek . I also work closely with Mariya Toneva at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems
