Eva Berlot

Post-doctoral researcher

I am interested in how we acquire the richly structured knowledge about the world. In particular, I study how learning intentions influence the extraction of regularities from the environment, as well as the underlying brain mechanisms.

Before joining the Predictive Brain Lab, I completed my PhD in the lab of Jörn Diedrichsen at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. There I investigated the brain underpinnings that allow us to learn complex motor skills, like playing the piano. Prior to that, I completed a Research Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University, and a BSc in Psychology at University College London.
