My research focuses on understanding how top-down expectations influence the temporal dynamics of neural representations, particularly how they influence which features are encoded and when. In my work, I combine MEG and a dynamic extension of RSA to explore how these dynamic representations are changed when predictions are violated.
I am currently a visiting PhD student at the Predictive Brain Lab, where I continue my PhD research from CIMeC in Trento, Italy, under the supervision of Moritz Wurm. Before starting my PhD, I completed both my BSc and MSc in Psychology at the University of Regensburg, Germany. During that time, I worked as a research assistant first with Mark Greenlee on multisensory processing and perceptual learning, and then with Angelika Lingnau on action understanding.
In my free time, I sing in a choir, do medieval fencing and love playing boardgames.
