Ole Fabritz

I'm mainly interested in interactions between perception and cognition, implicit predictive computations and computer vision, both as algorithmic reference for perceptual inference and in the application of neuroimaging. In my internship with Wieger Scheurer, I'm working on implicit predictions in the domain of intuitive physics, to gain insight into naturally trained priors of abstract physics concepts. My thesis project aims to disentangle to which degree of complexity the visual system simulates physics for perceptual inference in these settings.

Currently, I'm a student in Cognitive Neuroscience MSc at Radboud University. Prior to that I completed my BSc in Cognitive Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany, where I also worked as a research assistant.

Besides brains, other sciences and philosophy, I like music, game nights and various sports, mostly tennis and climbing at the moment.
