My line of research focuses on how the adult human brain acquires and utilizes the regularities in a natural language. The general methodology is to use MEG and Large Language Models (LLMs) to investigate how brain activity is tuned by the regularities in the audio materials in Chinese Mandarin.
Before joining the Predictive Brain Lab, I did a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience in South China Normal University, China. In my master study, I used fMRI to investigate the psychological refractory period in cross-modal (audiovisual) condition, and used iEEG to investigate how information is sustained in working memory.
Outside the lab, I enjoy singing, working out in gym, swimming, playing badminton, volleyball, and tennis, and love to try all kinds of sports.
